Allergenicity:Eight of 17 people allergic to shrimp had IgE positivity by ELISA and 3 of 17 were positive by basophil activation (Buhlmann flow cast). A total of 20 people were tested and 3 negative by ELISA. Four people tested for BHA were negative. Subjects were tested by SPT with extract. Subjects were positive to ingestion of food.
