No publications were found that clearly describe IgE binding or allergy to the sequence of Blo t 5 (as of 25 Oct, 2014). Publications by Chua KY (Protein Pept Lett, 2007, 14(4):325 and Yi, Inflamm Allergy Drug Targets, 2006, state that <10% of 200 subjects had IgE binding, however, there wasn't any demonstration of that in those publications.
